At Walkasse, we anticipate the needs of audio professionals by launching our new line of custom-designed Flight Cases for the Yamaha MGX-12 and MGX-16 digital mixing consoles (including their V variants). True to our manufacturing philosophy, these cases combine technical robustness with the elegance required for the professional environment.

Engineering "Made in Spain"

Designed and manufactured entirely in Spain, our cases are the result of a precision engineering process. We don't just aim to transport equipment; we aim to extend its lifespan.

• Premium Material: We exclusively use 7mm Finnish birch plywood (WBP). This choice is deliberate: it offers superior structural resistance to impacts and exceptional durability against humidity and temperature changes, far surpassing synthetic materials.

• "Live Mode" Design: Our Flight Cases are designed for real-world workflows. Thanks to their low-profile base, technicians can operate the console directly without removing it from the case, maintaining protection at all times and streamlining setup and teardown times (Plug & Play).

Specific Solutions: MGX-12V and MGX-16V

We understand that each console has its own particularities. Therefore, we have developed two specific chassis:

1. Model for Yamaha MGX-16 / V

Optimized for the wider format of the 16-channel series.

• Intelligent Storage: External dimensions of 550mm wide x 370mm deep x 200mm high with an additional 20mm at the base and a deep lid (80/100mm) to ensure that the MGX-16 faders and potentiometers never suffer mechanical stress.

• Portability: Weighing only 5.4 kg, it is the most balanced option between lightness and shielding.

2. Model for Yamaha MGX-12 / V

Compact and extremely robust for the 12-channel version.

• Airtight Fit: External dimensions of 445mm x 380mm x 220mm designed to maximize cargo space in racks or trunks.

• Vertical Protection: Its 110mm internal cover offers superior safety air volume, ideal for protecting the display and digital control surface.
